Ticket types (also called booking tiers) define what customers can purchase for your event. You can create multiple ticket types with different names, prices, and availability limits.
Creating a ticket type
- Open your event in the admin panel.
- Scroll to the Booking Tiers section and click Add Booking Tier.
- Set the type to Ticket.
- Fill in the details below.
- Click Save.
Ticket type settings

| Available quantity | Maximum number of tickets available. Leave blank for unlimited |

| Sale end date | Booking deadline — after this, the tier is no longer purchasable |
Limits
| Field | Description |
|---|
| Max tickets per booking | Maximum number of this ticket type a single customer can book in one order |
Pre-sale pricing
You can add a discounted pre-sale price that applies before a cutoff date. See How do I create pre-sale tickets? for details.
Per-person pricing (optional)
In addition to the unit price, you can add a per-person charge. For tickets, this is set automatically to the same value as quantity, so it’s mainly used for:
- Adding a service or booking fee on top of the base price
- Blended pricing structures
See What is per-person pricing? for details.
Common ticket tier setups
Free event
- Price: €0
- Available quantity: e.g., 200
- Max tickets per booking: e.g., 4
Tiered entry (multiple price levels)
Create separate tiers:
- Early Bird — €10, limited to 50 tickets, sale ends 7 days before event
- Standard Entry — €15, 200 tickets
- VIP Entry — €30, 30 tickets (includes complimentary drink)
One ticket per person
Set Max tickets per booking to 1 to ensure each customer can only purchase a single ticket.
Can I change the price after tickets are already sold?
Yes, you can update a booking tier at any time. However, customers who have already purchased tickets at the original price are not affected — their bookings retain the price they paid. New purchases will use the updated price.
How do I temporarily stop selling a ticket type?
Set the Available quantity to 0 or move the Sale end date to a past date. This makes the tier unavailable without deleting it. You can reverse this at any time to resume sales.
How do I delete a ticket type?
You can delete a booking tier if it has no confirmed bookings. If there are existing bookings against the tier, you should set the quantity to 0 or close the sale window instead.
