# How do I add photos and videos to my event?

> Upload banner images, event videos, and floor plan images to make your event listing stand out.

Adding high-quality media to your event makes it more appealing and helps drive bookings. XO supports banner images, event videos, and floor plan images.

## Types of media you can add

| Media type             | Where it appears                                                    | Recommended format                         |

| **Banner image**       | Top of the event page, event cards in browse view                   | JPG or PNG, 1200×675 px minimum            |

## Adding media to your event

1. Open the event in the admin panel (Events → select your event).
2. Scroll to the **Media** section.
3. Click the upload button for the relevant media type.
4. Select the file from your computer.
5. The file uploads automatically — you'll see a preview when it's ready.
6. Click **Save** to apply the changes.

## Tips for great event media

**Banner image:**

* Use a high-resolution image that captures the atmosphere of your event.
* Include the event name or date as text overlay if relevant.
* Avoid images with important content near the edges — they may be cropped on mobile.

**Event video:**

* Short, energetic clips from previous events work best.
* Vertical or square format is ideal for mobile viewing.
* Add music to make the clip more engaging.

**Floor plan:**

* Use a clear, labelled diagram of your venue.
* Mark table numbers or areas that correspond to your reservation options.
* This is especially useful for events with table bookings.

## Can I add multiple images?

Currently, one banner image is supported per event. For multiple photos, consider using a collage or a high-quality hero image that best represents the event.

## Can I reuse media from a previous event?

Media is uploaded per event and is not shared between events. To reuse the same image, re-upload it when creating the new event.

## What if I need to update the media after publishing?

You can update media at any time, even after the event is published. Changes take effect immediately — new visitors will see the updated image or video straight away.
