# How do I view guest list statistics?

> Track invited, confirmed, arrived, and cancelled metrics for your complimentary bookings.

XO tracks performance metrics for your guest list bookings separately from regular paid bookings. This gives you a clear picture of how your complimentary entries and invitation campaigns are performing.

## What are guest list statistics?

Guest list statistics cover all bookings created through the admin panel (complimentary / admin-created bookings), as distinct from bookings made by customers themselves.

## Where to find guest list statistics

1. Go to **Events & Bookings** in the admin panel.
2. Select your event (and occurrence if recurring).
3. Use the **Guest List** filter to show only admin-created bookings.
4. The attendance counter at the top reflects the filtered view.

For the full statistics breakdown, go to the **Events** section, open the event, and look for the **Guest List Statistics** panel.

## Why track guest list separately?

Separating guest list data from paid bookings helps you:

* **Measure show-up rates:** How many guests you invited vs. how many actually arrived.
* **Control capacity:** Guest list entries count against your venue's total capacity. Knowing how many comp bookings you've issued prevents overselling.
* **Evaluate promoter performance:** If promoters are creating guest list entries, you can measure conversion (invited → arrived) per promoter.
* **Reduce no-shows:** If show-up rates are low, you can adjust your guest list strategy.

***

## Example: reading your guest list stats

Imagine you've hosted a Friday night with:

* 50 guest list bookings created
* 38 confirmed
* 25 arrived
* 4 cancelled

**Interpretation:**

* 12 bookings were created but not yet confirmed (possibly pending or declined).
* 25 out of 38 confirmed guests showed up — a **66% show-up rate**.
* 25% of invitations resulted in no-shows.

If show-up rates are consistently low, consider reducing your guest list size or following up with invitees before the event.

## Can I see who was on the guest list?

Yes. In the **Events & Bookings** screen with the Guest List filter active, you'll see each guest list booking with the customer name, booking details, and arrival status. You can also export this data to Excel — see [How do I export my booking data?](../managing-bookings/export-booking-data).
